Keira Knightley is set to lead a new West End film adaptation of Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck’s Oscar-winning film. The lives of others.
It was written and directed by Rockert Icke at the Adelphi Theater in London pride and prejudice and Pirates of the Caribbean The actress will join game of thrones Star Stephen Dillane and BridgertonLuke Thompson.
From Sonia Friedman Productions, the stage show – also featuring an original score Hamnet Composer Max Richter – will premiere on October 29 of this year, running until January 9, 2027.

The production sees Icke and Friedman renew their creative partnership after their work on plays including Oedipus, chase, village, The doctor, Oresteiaand 1984. Knightley and Friedman are back together after working together in 2011 Children’s watch.
Henkel von Donnersmarck’s 2006 German-language film took the subsequent awards season by storm, including the Oscars, BAFTAs, Kaiser Awards, and the Independent Spirit Awards. Starring Ulrich Muhe, Martina Gedek, Sebastian Koch, and Ulrich Tukur.
