Pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have turned the biggest music festival – Coachella – into a romantic night of their own. The couple, who have been creating buzz with their appearances around town, attended the event together. Twinning in white tees, the two were seen keeping their look somewhat casual as they attended the event with a group of other fans.
Photos and videos from the event saw the couple sharing some emotional moments on the ground. When they weren’t holding hands or cuddling during live performances, the two were seen dining together and even sitting in a reserved area for a drink. Perry also gave fans a glimpse into their evening on Instagram, posting a series of photos with the caption: “Check the heat on these chickens.” She also shared photos of herself with Trudeau, staying close to her throughout the night.
The pair were also in attendance at Justin Bieber’s headlining concert, where Perry joked about the singer’s YouTube style. In response to Justin opening a YouTube tab on the big screen, she joked in the clip: “Thank God he got Premium… I don’t want to see any ads.”
Perry and Trudeau, who have reportedly been dating since mid-2025, had no qualms about showing off some PDA online. Although the couple has kept their romance largely private, they have been sharing romantic photos and videos from their vacations and travels together. Trudeau and Perry recently made headlines when the politician’s son Chav spoke out about his equation with the singer. He shared that when he’s looking for advice about his music, he can go to his dad’s girlfriend. “When I’m really happy with a song [I] Send it [to her]”She’s always happy to give me advice or tell me what I should change,” Xav said on an episode of the Can’t Be Censored podcast. Continuing to talk about the singer, he said: “She’s very nice. It’s great down to earth. It’s great. “I think my father is happy, so that’s important.”
