When it isn’t Posting anti-Trump rhetoric to incite violence Making jokes about our president, Jimmy Kimmel is here offering advice to couples.

Wednesday Jimmy Kimmel Live! The monologue began with a running review of King Charles and Queen Camilla’s visit to America before our 250th birthday, which of course celebrates our separation from their crown.

On Tuesday, the Trump family hosted a lavish dinner for about 100 guests in addition to the two guests of honor. While posing for photos, Donald and Melania Trump walked holding hands, an impressive united front from America’s first married couple.

“Lately, the Trump family has seemed closer than ever, and I like to think I played a role in that,” Kimmel said.

Then the late-night ABC show focused on the Trump family’s hands, which didn’t help much. They released the fist, looked around awkwardly, and after a flick of the United States’ president’s pinky, they finally re-clamped it.

“Given the week I spent with the first couple, I would say it’s a completely normal way of interacting between two people who are very much in love,” Kimmel joked. “Maybe that’s why his hands were bruised: from Melania hitting them away.”

In case you’ve been living under a rock and without a phone charger, earlier this week, both Melania and Donald Trump (in that order) called for Kimmel to be kicked out of his late-night party. once again. The renewed disagreement between management and Kimmel stems from a joke he made six nights ago. On Thursday, Kimmel set up a fake dinner for the White House Correspondents’ Association because the real person hadn’t booked a comic book. One wisdom has gone further, in the eyes of the people whose eyes sit under the red hats.

“Look at Melania, she’s so beautiful,” Kimmel said. “Mrs. Trump, you have the glow of a pregnant widow.”

MAGA Republicans took it as a threat — and some took it as a very prescient prediction of the assassination attempt that would come two days later at the real party — when the rest of us realized it was a joke about 1) their age difference and 2) the perception that Mrs. Trump doesn’t particularly like Mr. Trump — well, not until Kimmel reignited the flame.
