According to Sacnilk, ‘Jana Nayagan’ has earned Rs 9.58 crore from bookings across India, and a total of 3,57,022 tickets have already been sold.
The film is also doing well in international markets. Overseas bookings have crossed Rs 11-12 crore even before its release. Even before the premiere, international advance sales have already crossed Rs 21 crore, which is a good start for the film.
The numbers are a testimony to Vijay’s undiminished clout at the box office and the eagerness of moviegoers to watch his film. The first day numbers are expected to cross Rs 100 crore and Vijay is all set for another record opening.
