His announcement comes amid reports of new Covid-19 infections in parts of Andhra Pradesh. According to reports, health authorities have detected eight active cases in YSR Kadapa district in recent weeks. Two of the patients who tested positive reportedly died while undergoing treatment.Following the latest cases, provincial authorities have intensified surveillance and deployed rapid response teams to collect samples in affected areas.
