The seventh installment of YRF Spy Universe, “Alpha,” which marks the first ever female-led spy drama, maintained a steady pace over its second weekend. The Alia Bhatt and Sharvari starrer had a good second Friday, but it saw significant growth on Saturday and maintained its dominance on Sunday as well.

Alpha group for the second weekend
Released on July 3, 2026, Alpha marks Alia Bhatt’s debut in the world of espionage. The film, after opening its second weekend on Friday with a net collection of Rs 1.65 crore, saw a jump of over 30 per cent on Saturday, collecting a net collection of Rs 2.25 crore across 2,883 shows.
According to Sakneelak, the film on Saturday also maintained the same office number and added another Rs 2.25 crore across 2,733 shows.With this, after 10 days of theatrical release, the total collections of ‘Alpha’ in India have reached Rs 63.91 crore, while the domestic net earnings have reached Rs 53.60 crore so far.In the international market too, the stats remain steady, with the film adding another seed to the tally on the 10th day, pushing the total overseas collections to Rs 25.50 crore.
Combining the Indian and overseas collections, ‘Alpha’s’ global earnings after the second weekend stood at Rs 89.41 crore.

Alpha occupancy on the tenth day
On the second Sunday, July 12, 2026, the overall occupancy rate reached 27.85 percent. The report notes that the day saw a good opening of 8 percent in morning shows. However, the afternoon shows registered a surprising increase, with occupancy reaching 32.23 per cent. It rose to 36.85 percent in the evening shows. Finally, the night shows saw an occupancy rate of 27.54%.
