The World Cup final between defending champions Argentina and Spain marks not only the first final between these two teams, but also the first halftime show in FIFA history. The game will take place on July 19 at 12pm PT/3pm ET, and the halftime show will likely start about 45 minutes or an hour after the start of the game, between 12:45 and 1pm PT. Airing live on Fox, the performance and finale can be streamed live on any service that carries said network, namely DirecTV (with a five-day free trial), Fubo, Sling, and Hulu + Live TV.
The 2026 final, including the halftime show, will also be broadcast live on Fox One, the official broadcaster of the 2026 World Cup. After a three-day free trial of the service, a Fox One subscription costs $19.99 per month. For Spanish-language coverage, Peacock is the official broadcaster of the World Cup.

2026 FIFA World Cup semi-final show
The 11-minute show, hosted by Coldplay’s Chris Martin, will be co-hosted by Madonna, Shakira, BTS and Justin Bieber. The halftime show lineup also includes Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel and his orchestra, the PS22 Chorus featuring Coldplay, as well as “Sesame Street” and “Muppets” characters.
