‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ collection at box office on 2nd day
The Varun Dhawan starrer has netted Rs 7.5 crore at the Indian box office on its opening day. However, the film saw a 3.3% decline in revenue compared to the previous day’s earnings. Now, as per a Sacnilk report, the film has collected Rs 7.25 crore across 8,813 shows on the second day.With this, the total net collection in India has reached Rs 14.75 lakh crore, while the overall net collection in India now stands at Rs 17.70 lakh crore.Overseas, the Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur starrer collected Rs 3 crore on the second day, taking its total overseas collection to Rs 5.50 crore. This has taken the total global collection to Rs 23.20 lakh crore.

Box office competition
The romantic comedy has locked horns with multiple releases at the box office. The film faces competition from Bobby Deol and Anurag Kashyap’s collaboration ‘Bender’ and Ram Charan’s upcoming film ‘Peddii’.
Apart from that, Varun’s film also clashed with the Hollywood version of ‘He-Man and the Masters of the Universe’.
