Following the announcement, many people, including fans, co-stars of his old projects and others, took to their accounts to pay their respects. Actress Alyson Hannigan, who is best known for How I Met Your Mother and worked with Head on Buffy, also shared a heartfelt message for the late star.

The actress took to her social media account to pen a note to the veteran actor. Reminiscing about their time together, she wrote in her post: “This wound is so deep I’m afraid it can never be healed (heartbreak emoji).”

Anthony Head dies at the age of 72
