Aamir Khan has publicly confirmed his wedding plans. The actor revealed that he will be marrying his long-time girlfriend-turned-partner, Gauri Sprat, on July 5 and that the ceremony will be a simple family celebration held at his private residence in Mumbai.

Aamir Khan made the announcement while addressing journalists at the screening of ‘Pritam and Pedro’ in Mumbai on Thursday. According to ANI, speaking candidly about the upcoming wedding, he said: “Haan, meri shaadi ho rahi hai 5 July ko, aur bahut hi chhoti si shaadi hai. Ghar par hi kar rahe hain, dono Family ke saath. Bahut hi khaas din hai humare liye. Sabki duayein aur Blesss chahenge. hum khush rahein aur humara safar achha rahe (Yes, I am getting married on July 5th, and it will be a very small and intimate wedding.

Aamir Khan and Gauri Sprat’s love story
Aamir Khan first spoke about his relationship with Gauri Spratt during his 60th birthday celebrations in March last year, when he introduced him to the press in Mumbai.
At the time, he said the two had known each other as friends for nearly 25 years before their relationship became romantic more recently. Gauri is also the mother of a seven-year-old boy.
