'Gaaliyaan rukni nahi chahiye': Mallika Dua loses her cool over Praneet More, '370 Rs biryani' remark and KEM doctor controversy

Comedian Mallika Dua called out Praneet More, Himanshu Jangra, Rs 370 biryani man and KEM doctor in a strongly worded Instagram post. The action comedy slammed viral internet culture, while the Maharashtra cybercrime police registered an FIR against Praneet More for objectionable content shared on social media.

Comedian Mallika Dua took to Instagram to share a strongly worded note, where she referred to a series of recent controversies that have been making headlines. From comedian Praneet More and Himanshu Jangra to the 22-year-old from Gurugram who was behind the viral ‘370 Rs biryani’ remark and the KEM doctor who faced backlash for making an inappropriate comment about the genitals of a man’s corpse, Dua had something to say about them all.

In her post, she explained that the criticisms directed at these individuals were justified, while also doing sharp research into viral internet culture and the growing trend of ensemble comedy.

Mallika Dua’s Instagram post: “Gaaliyaan rukni nahin chahiye”

“Gaaliyaan rukni nahin chahiye, but let’s be clear: Woh l*du, comedian/comedian/artist nahin hai. Us Jh**tu keede ke saath koi ladki date pe nahin gayi thi; let’s be honest. Yeh roz 5 baar auto ke lite reject hota hai,” Malaika wrote on Instagram.

He is a filthy scoundrel even in his grade C made up story. Uss JH ** tu ki jeb mein 370 kya 30 rupay bhi nahin hain. I’m sure Vasooli vaale uske peeche lage rehte hain. He wasn’t fired from his job because of your anger.

He was clearly below average even at work and was disposable. He certainly did not write that story in English.”

The actress didn’t hold back when it came to the doctor either, calling her “Badtamiz” and questioning whether she has the skills, drive or basic human decency that the medical profession requires.

She then turned her attention to ensemble comedy, dismissing it as something unworthy of being called an art form. In her view, many Indian comedians rely on this idea as a shortcut to getting attention online, and use it to hide their lack of real talent.

She ended her post on a bitter note, noting that despite the recurring controversy, society continues to reward these people with fame and money.

Maharashtra Cybercrime police registers an FIR against Praneet More

The Maharashtra Cyber Crime Police on Thursday took action in the matter and registered an FIR against comedian Praneet More and several others in connection with objectionable content being widely circulated on social media.
