The 2026 Formula 1 season has officially begun. After three tests and one qualifying round, the Qatar Airways Australian Grand Prix will take place at Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne on Saturday, March 7 at 8pm PT/11pm ET. In terms of TV coverage, the 2026 season marks the start of F1 and Apple TV’s five-year streaming deal, meaning that for the first time ever, Apple TV is the exclusive US home for every practice, qualifying and sprint race, including, of course, the Australian Grand Prix.
In addition to today’s race, all of the weekend’s practice and qualifying sessions are available on-demand at Apple TV’s Formula 1 Center. After a seven-day free trial for new subscribers, Apple TV is priced at $12.99 per month.
