In an interview with Gulti, BVS Ravi praised the sheer amount of ambition that went into making ‘Dhurandhar’. He shared, “Look at ‘Dhurandhar’, he (Aditya) made an 8-hour film. How hard he worked and how much research he did. He tried so hard to make it make sense. What theme did he build? How many people trusted and believed in his vision? How did he convince the producer to spend that much money?”

In the same conversation, he also addressed the widespread belief that high production costs in Tollywood are primarily due to actor fees.

He said poor pre-production planning was the real culprit.
