'Dhamaal 4' Box Office Collection Day 9 Live Update: Ajay Devgn film sees decline, faces competition from 'The Odyssey', collects Rs. 2.49 Cr net

Ajay Devgn’s Dhamaal 4 has crossed Rs. 100 crore nett by the 9th, though collections fell to Rs. 2.49 crore on that day, taking the total to Rs. 103.99 Crores. Facing competition from Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” in excellent form, the fourth installment of the comedy franchise, directed by Indra Kumar, continues its steady theatrical run.

Ajay Devgn’s Dhamaal 4 continues to have a strong performance at the box office, ending its opening week on a high note. The film is directed by Indra Kumar, and its price exceeds Rs. It clocked a net collection of Rs 100 crore domestically by the ninth day, with the nostalgia factor of the comedy franchise leading to family audiences flocking to theatres.

“Dhamaal 4” faces stiff competition from “The Odyssey”

However, the real challenge arrived in the second weekend, with Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated epic “The Odyssey”, which was released worldwide on July 17, 2026, taking over premium formats like IMAX and large format screens. Although the two films cater to different segments of audience, Nolan’s version underperforms the multiplex occupancy and premium viewing allotment of Dhamaal 4.

Dhamal 4’s opening weekend and first week trend

‘Dhamaal 4’ started with a strong Rs. 14 crore on the first day, before rising over the weekend to Rs.

22.50 Crores on Day 2 and Best Franchise Rs. 28.50 Crores on Sunday (Day 3). Monday brought the expected decline to Rs. 8.75 crore, but the film remained steady through the rest of the week, earning Rs. 9.50 crore on the 5th day and Rs. 6.75 crores on the 6th day.

Collections eased further on day 7, reaching Rs. 6 crores net, registering a decline of 11.1% over the previous day. This pushed India’s total net to Rs. 96.00 Crore and taking India’s total to Rs.

114.49 Crores. On the external front, the film added Rs. 1.00 lakh crore on the 7th day, bringing the total external output to Rs. 18.25 crore and the global total stands at Rs. 132.74 crore by the end of the first week. The film maintained a steady pace on the 8th day as well, earning Rs. net of Rs 5.35 lakh across 8,154 shows nationwide, a modest 10.8% decline from Rs.

Rs 6.00 crore was collected the previous day.
