‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has been a huge success at the box office since its theatrical release. Amid the hype surrounding the film, actor Danish Pandor, who plays Uzair Baloch, spoke out about censoring a crucial sequence of football matches in the film.
The actor spoke about how the scene was cut down to 25 seconds following the directions of the Central Board of Film Certification.
Because of this, the filmmakers recast it.

Danish Pandor told Moneycontrol, “The censor board cut 25-30 seconds of this scene. When I read the script, I was excited to do it. In the history of Indian cinema, we have never faced this scene. It was a big opportunity as an actor.”Uzair Baloch of ‘Dhurandhar’ Films added: “At the same time, I was careful about how people would perceive it.
I had to make it compelling and relatable so it didn’t seem like I was doing it for the sake of it.”Danish went on to add that the scene needs some emotions backing it up. He said: “Fortunately, I was proven right. I did not disappoint the director and the audience. Somewhere, I felt I justified that scene. A lot of people love that moment.”
