At the time, a spokesperson for the Draper Police Department in Utah confirmed to US Weekly that there was an “open domestic assault investigation” involving the couple.Shortly after the news broke, TMZ posted a 2023 video showing Paul throwing chairs at Mortensen in the presence of her daughter, one of two additional children she shares with ex-husband Tate Paul.
