DC Studios’ horror-filled film is a change of pace for comic books.

DC Studios president Peter Safran took the stage in Las Vegas on Tuesday to reveal the first action-packed footage from the film.

The horrific footage, which includes no dialogue, begins with a man appearing mutilated with blood-stained bandages covering his face.

A montage flashes back to show what led up to this moment. The final scene features the titular character, played by Tom Rhys Harris, using his hand to wipe his face clean revealing a completely blank appearance.

Clayface It is described as a horror film with a relatively small budget of $40 million. The film revolves around Batman, a villain known for his ability to change his appearance. Horror maestro Mike Flanagan wrote the script See no evil Directed by James Watkins and starring Harry.

The character’s history dates back to 1940 in the comics.

Clayface It is produced by Batman Director Matt Reeves, along with Lane Harris and DC Studios directors Gunn and Safran. The film is scheduled to release on October 11 and will follow its June release date Supergirl On the DC Studios roster.

Watkins got the job to direct the film in February 2025 after meeting with Gunn and Safran, where he was on the verge of success. Speak no evilwhich stars James McAvoy in the 2022 remake of the Danish psychological horror film.
