Chloe Cherry and Bella Thorne have teamed up for a thrilling revenge thriller, and they can’t wait for the world to finally see their work. The two recently co-starred in the upcoming thriller “Find Your Friends.”
In a recent interview, the duo ended up sharing more about the film, who the target audience really is, and their shared love of the horror genre.

While speaking with PEOPLE, Cherry and Thorne talked about what the film is about in nature and what they hope audiences take away from it. Citing that it is based on serious incidents, Cherry shared that it “shows the actual anger that victims of rape and sexual assault feel – and rightfully so.
“They should feel these feelings.”On the other hand, Thorne joked that she wants young men and boys to see the film, and that she wants it to oppose the ideas of the manosphere. “I felt like we were starting to get somewhere with agreement, and it’s like we’re back in contention again, and so, I hope this gives people an interesting perspective and that young boys will see it in that nature and hopefully understand it a little bit more,” she shared.
She also teased that the film largely explores the gray area of consent and what it really means. She also added, “I felt like we were starting to get somewhere with approval, and it seemed like we were going backwards right away.”The duo discussed the film in depth, and also shared how they had to shoot for a month and a half in extremely cold weather; However, given the theme of the film, all the cast members had to act in a really exciting way.

During the interview, the co-stars also ended up delving into the past as they shared their love for one of horror’s biggest classics, “The Grudge.” One point of connection between them was their childhood love and exposure to horror classics.Specifically “The Gordge,” Sherri shared that she was about 9 years old when she saw the movie at a neighbor’s house, adding, “We watched it, and my life hasn’t been the same since I saw that, honestly.”
Thorne also added, “My family and I went to see it in theaters, and we all slept in the living room — my whole family, my mom, my dad, and our four brothers.”
