Imagine showing up at Cameron Diaz’s door as a guest, and she doesn’t let you in. This can happen a lot, but for a “good” reason on the part of the “Knight and Day” actress. Because Diaz doesn’t mess around when it comes to her house rules.
She made it clear: If you came to her door in your street shoes, you wouldn’t get in; She will leave you on the sidewalk.
Cameron Diaz’s “strict” house rules.
Cameron Diaz recently opened up about her biggest pet peeve during an appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show.” When I asked Drew what really bothers her about house guests, Diaz didn’t ignore anything: People bringing New York City sidewalk grit into her house.Diaz painted a very funny picture of how consistently she applies this rule.
During the “Drew’s Qs” segment of the show, the star responded to her “biggest flaw.” The star took a pause, then took a deep breath, and said, “Shoes from the street in New York City.”Diaz also revealed that she expected people to change the clothes they were wearing outside before getting involved. Why? According to her, outdoor environments carry dirt and germs that she prefers to keep away from her living space. “You can’t, if you want to go to her house, put a condom on her,” Drew joked.
“You’ll have to change your clothes to come to my house in New York,” Diaz agreed. “It turns out to be true,” Drew revealed, “and her house has no germs because of it.
“She knows it sounds intense, and Drew and the rest of the cast, including Keanu Reeves, Matt Bomer, and Jonah Hill, laugh. However, Cameron still stands by the idea: “I’m rolling on my floors. It’s okay.”No wonder she wants to keep it that way!
