Brooks Nader certainly brought this into existence.
Swimsuit model and I love you Nader The star, who rocked the classic Baywatch piece on the cover of the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, has been cast in Fox Baywatch Reboot.
Nader’s character, Celine, is a lifeguard at Zuma Beach, and is constantly competing with new and older Hobie Buchannon, played by Stephen Amell. More specifically, Selene is the “sharp-tongued” captain over there – watch your (tanned and oiled) back, new Hobi.
Fox described Selene as “excellent at her job”, but her “completely different approach to saving lives” (than Hopi’s) is “a constant source of friction between the two”.
The character’s description reads: “Their relationship has never been better, as their relationship only deteriorates after Hobby brings his daughter, Charlie, into his team… and it becomes clear that their rivalry runs much deeper than just saving the rescue.”
Maybe Celine should have watched the original Baywatch. If she had, she would have known that this is exactly how Hobie (played by Jeremy Jackson) got his start – under the leadership of dad Mitch (David Hasselhoff).
Other castings previously announced at Baywatch (2026) TV reboot includes Jessica Belkin as Charlie Vale, Hussie Harrison as Nat, Thaddeus Laughron as Brad, and David Chokachi reprising his role as Cody Madison from the original series.
Baywatch It was a true global sensation, running for over 200 episodes. It generated a bad substring Baywatch NightsAnd a few bad TV movies and a bad 2017 feature film starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Zac Efron, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Alexandria Daddario.
New Baywatcha co-production between Fox Entertainment and Fremantle, is scheduled to launch on Fox in the 2026-27 season. The series begins with today’s table reading, Hollywood Reporter She’s learned that, and will begin filming this spring on Los Angeles’ Venice Beach and in the Fox Century City backlot. Matt Nix is showrunner and will executive produce alongside McG, Michael Burke, Greg Bonan, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz; McG will direct the first episode of the series.

The wild child Hobie Buchannon we all loved from the original series is now Captain Baywatch, following in the footsteps of his legendary father Mitch. Hobie’s world is turned upside down when Charlie, the daughter he never knew, shows up on his doorstep, eager to continue the Buchannon family legacy and become a lifeguard on Baywatch alongside her father. OG heartthrob Cody Madison now runs The Shoreline restaurant, the unofficially official Baywatch bar and grill, and still wears red boxes on the occasional shift to save lives. He’s a mentor and friend, providing a second home for fellow rescuers…and always offering free wings after a big rescue.
Hulu and Freeform’s I love you Naderexecutive produced by Jimmy Kimmel, follows Brooks and her three sisters’ personal lives and careers in New York City (and beyond). The show was recently picked up for a second season. Nader competed in season 33 of Dancing with the stars.
