Newly released dashcam video captured Britney Spears’ March 4 DUI arrest in Ventura.The footage, obtained by TMZ, shows the singer interacting with police officers after he was pulled over for allegedly driving erratically and swerving between lanes.

According to the police report, officers claimed they detected a “distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage” during the stop. According to the report, Spears also revealed that she had taken Adderall, Prozac, and Lamictal earlier that day.The police were seen in the clip placing handcuffs on her hands while putting her in the car.

“This DUI case will be handled according to our standard protocols,” the District Attorney’s Office said. “For defendants with no prior history of DUI, a low blood alcohol level, and where there is no accident or injury, prosecutors typically file what is known as a ‘wet reckless’ case.”

In November 2021, Spears’ 13-year conservatorship was officially ended.
