Billy Crystal returns to Broadway this fall in a play inspired by the loss of his home to the California wildfires.

one man show, 860written and performed by Crystal and directed by Olivier Award winner Scott Ellis, Interim Artistic Director of Roundabout Theater Company. It is scheduled to be shown for a limited 12-week run at the Shubert Theater, to be announced, with previews beginning in October.

“I am thrilled to return to Broadway this fall with this challenging new show,” Crystal said. “860 was the address of the house we lost in the Palisades fires. We lived there for 46 years. I invite you to come into 860 and I’ll tell you all the funny and poignant things that happened there, not just for my career but for our family. It’s an uplifting and honest visit, about how you can overcome difficult times with the love of family and friends and your inner strength. I’m looking forward to returning to Broadway and welcoming audiences 860“.

Crystal was one of many people who lost their homes to the January 2025 wildfires, along with other notable names, including Eugene Levy, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Mandy Moore, Diane Warren and others.
