Asha Bhosle's mortal remains brought to her home, CM Devendra Fadnavis pays last respects, Vidya Balan, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar visit - inside pics

Legendary singer Asha Bhosle passed away on Sunday, April 12 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Her son Anand Bhosle told the media outside the hospital: “Meri mataji shremati asha bhosle inka aaj nidhaan ho chuka hai.

Woh Jahan rehti thi, Casa Grand Lower Parel 11am, wahan unke antim darshan honge, wahan aaiye aur kal dopahar ko 4 baje Shivaji park unka antim sanskar hoga (She died today. Those who wish to pay their last respects can visit her residence tomorrow at 11am. The last rites will be held tomorrow at 4pm at Shivaji Park).” Her remains have now been brought to her residence in Lower Parel and celebrities have already started visiting her.

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis was the first to reach her residence. The Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Office shared some pictures on X where one can see the mortal remains of the singer. I read the tweet, “Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis paid his last respects to veteran Padma Vibhushan and Maharashtra Bhushan singer Asha Bhosle at her residence in Mumbai and paid her heartfelt tributes.

Meanwhile, Vidya Balan and Urmila Matondkar were seen arriving at Asha Bhosle’s house.
