The Master of Spots’ first film under his horror division banner will hit theaters on August 7.

Ari Milne is the devilish character who offers children sweets with terrifying results in the trailer for Eli Roth’s film ice cream man, Which dropped on Wednesday.
Axes, chainsaws and baseball bats are the weapons of choice for children having a meltdown in an idyllic town plunged into madness when the ice cream man from his truck hands out candy on a summer day. “This ice cream is demonic. They’re not trying to kill us. They’re trying to transform us. We have to run away!” One of the children was heard saying loudly in the trailer as a bloody mess ensued.
The film stars Benjamin Byron Davis, Karen Klisch, Dylan Hocko, Sarah Abbott, Shiloh O’Reilly, Chiuri Mirza Waldman, Charlie Zeltzer and Charlie Story. Roth, as a horror author, is known for it Cabin fever and hostel Privileges, and Thanksgiving Day.
In addition to directing and producing Ice cream manRoth co-wrote the screenplay with longtime collaborator Noah Bilson. The film contains an original score by Brandon Roberts, with additional music by Snoop Dogg. Cream Productions Kate Harrison (Thanksgiving Day) is produced along with dung.
Ice cream man It is also Roth’s first film under the Horror Division banner which launched in March 2025. Rap icon Nas is an executive producer through Horror Division’s partnership with Mass Appeal Group led by CEO Peter Bittenbender.
Ice cream man It is scheduled to hit theaters on August 7, 2026 with a planned release on over 2,000 screens across North America via an Iconic Events release.
