Most Valuable Promotions Jake Paul (MVP) brings the first-ever championship boxing bout to TikTok, as Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano (49-4-1, 32 KOs) defends her unified title against Argentina’s WBO No. 2 contender Lucrecia Manzor (14-4, 7 KOs). If Serrano Co Manzor can break the record in women’s knockout history.

Regardless of the outcome, at least one milestone will be achieved on Friday, August 21 at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California. Serrano vs. Manzor marks the first-ever unified women’s world championship, and consists of 12 two-minute rounds — you know, unless it comes by knockout (or vice versa). The unification here includes the WBO, WBA and Ring Magazine titles.

Serrano is a seven-division champion, the first undisputed Puerto Rican world champion (male or female), and the first female boxer to headline Madison Square Garden. She was the first to sign MVP and has a lifetime contract with the promotion that will make her the head of women’s boxing initiatives after her in-ring retirement, when that comes.

“I have dedicated my career to creating opportunities for women’s boxing and taking our sport to the biggest stages possible, so to headline the first-ever championship boxing event on TikTok is incredibly meaningful,” Serrano said in a statement. “Women’s boxing deserves to be watched by as many people around the world as possible, and this partnership gives us the opportunity to bring our sport to a huge global audience in a whole new way.”

If the “Real Deal” theme sounds familiar, it’s because Evander Holyfield did it first.

The Serrano-Manzur undercard will feature Jamaal Harvey (3-0, 2 KOs) vs. Hammett Kipp (7-2-1, 6 KOs) in a six-round lightweight bout (135 lbs), Julie Bocca (1-0) vs. Cinderella Lenier (1-0) in a four-round super lightweight bout (140 lbs), Roxy Verduzco (7-0, 1). KO) vs. Miguelina Hernandez (4-0, 3 KOs) in an eight-round featherweight bout, Nelfi Tiavak (4-0, 3 KOs) vs. Salvador Zavala (7-0, 5 KOs) in a six-round heavyweight bout, and Jocelyn Camarillo (6-0, 1 KO) vs. Ashley Felix (7-4, 1 KO) in a six-round bout. Minimum weight (105 lbs) for the fight.

“Since day one, MVP has challenged the traditional boxing model by creating the biggest moments and opportunities for fighters while finding new ways to bring the sport to fans around the world,” said Paul and his MVP co-founder Nakisa Bedarian. “Partnering with TikTok to deliver the first-ever boxing championship event on TikTok Live is another example of that vision to grow the boxing audience and make world championship fights more accessible than ever before. This event will also energize MVP’s loyal fan base among hard-to-reach Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences, a demographic that MVP has consistently reached better than anyone else in the sport.”

TikTok has previously hosted boxing matches, but none of them were in action.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to bringing the world’s most engaging live sports moments to our global community, while giving fans new ways to discover, engage and engage with the athletes and creators they love,” added Shen Zhao, head of live operations in the Americas at TikTok. “We are excited to bring the first championship boxing event to TikTok Live alongside MVP, highlighting Amanda Serrano as she works toward a historic accomplishment.”
