Alex and Laila Hormzi, founders and managing partners of Acquisition dot com, a private equity firm, and CEO Sharan Srivatsa, have signed with Creative Artists Agency.
The agency will work with Hormozis, Srivatsaa and Chief Marketing Officer Gabriel Blanco to expand on speaking engagements, digital partnerships, branding, podcasts and live tour opportunities. After starting out as owners of a gym that expanded to six locations, Alex Hormzi and his wife, Laila, have moved on to additional business acquisitions, creating online content, and writing books for entrepreneurs looking to scale their own businesses.
The Hormozis join CAA as the fast-growing creator economy continues to fuel Hollywood, as digital disrupters fuel studios’ talent pipelines, drive marketing strategies and redefine who gets to be a star.
In 2021, the Hormozis launched Acquisition dot com to invest in founder-led companies with the goal of maximizing cash flow and retained earnings. Alex Hormzi is Managing Partner, and Leila Hormzi is CEO of a holding company that currently has annual revenues of over $250 million and 37 portfolio companies.
Srivatsa, a veteran of private equity investments, including while at Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse, serves as CEO and Managing Partner of Acquisition. Alex Hormozi also has 4.6 million followers on Instagram and another 1 million on X, partly to learn how to scale their own businesses. He has books such as: $100 million offers, $100 million offers and $100 million financial models.
Leila Hermozi has 1.5 million others on Instagram, and she posts Laila messages, Weekly newsletter, podcast hosting, Building with Laila Hormzi. The Hormozis family is also represented by Align PR.
