The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) is expected to release the provisional answer key for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2026 soon on its official website, wjeeb.nic.in. The exam was conducted on 24 May 2026. The answer key will allow candidates to evaluate their potential scores before the announcement of admission results for undergraduate Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture courses across West Bengal.
The challenge window remains open for a limited time
The examination committee has clarified that candidates will be allowed to submit objections to the provisional answer key within a specified period. However, the interception tool will remain active only for a limited time after you edit the answer key.Students who dispute any response will have to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 500 per question in addition to applicable banking service charges. The Council will consider all objections before preparing the final answer key.The officials said that the final answer key will be treated as binding and the WBJEE 2026 results will be prepared strictly on the basis of the revised and final answers. The Board also clarified that no further communications regarding the challenges will be made after the review process has concluded.
OMR response sheets will be uploaded online
Apart from the answer key, the board is also expected to release scanned images of candidates’ OMR sheets and auto-recorded answers for a short period.
Candidates will be able to access these documents through their login credentials.Students have been advised to download and retain copies of their answer sheets for future reference, as access may not remain available indefinitely beyond the specified timetable.
Classification cards to carry sectoral and overall grades
WBJEE 2026 result will be declared in the form of rank card containing detailed performance data of the candidates. The scorecard is expected to include the overall marks and component scores in mathematics, physics and chemistry, along with the ranks obtained in the examination.Candidates will be required to log in to the portal using their password to download the final rank card once the results are announced.
