Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), or IP University (IPU), has extended the last date to apply for its national level examination-based and merit-based programs for the 2026 academic session.
Candidates can now submit their applications online until April 30 through the official website.The university advised applicants to choose the correct program and program code carefully while filling out the application form. Officials also warned candidates not to rush the process and stressed the importance of entering accurate details.The university explained that there are separate application methods for Common Entrance Test (CET) based programmes, national level test based programmes, and merit-based admission.
Candidates must ensure that they apply through the correct category. The application window for CET-based programs has already closed.Candidates are advised to visit the official website regularly for more updates.

The Inter-Parliamentary Union proposes 24 new sessions
For the 2026 academic session, IP University has introduced 24 new courses. These include:
- Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)
- Lateral entry to Bachelor of Science in Packaging Technology
- Master of Technology (MTech) in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence
- Master of Arts in Mass Communication (Weekend Program)
- Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy
- Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Industrial Chemistry
- Bachelor of Science (BA) in Clinical Psychology
- Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science)
- BTech in Computer Science and Business Systems
- New programs in teacher education and comprehensive education
- Additional weekend courses in selected areas
Cute Grades to be used as secondary admission route
The university also confirmed that Common University Entrance Test (CUET) results will be used as a secondary admission channel for most programmes. The seats remaining vacant after admission will be filled through admission tests conducted by the university on merit-based CUET.Candidates are advised to complete their application before the deadline and carefully check all details before submitting the form.
