CHENNAI: Despite concerns over weak monsoon in several parts of the country, demand for tractors has remained resilient. Domestic tractor sales registered strong double-digit growth in June both year-on-year and sequentially.

The strong performance also lifted first-quarter volumes, which were up 19% year-on-year, suggesting that demand for agricultural mechanization has so far remained largely insulated from weather-related uncertainties.Total domestic tractor sales rose 12% to 1,26,041 units in June from 1,12,677 units in June 2025 as per TMA data.
