'Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have no right to be on royal properties: the Sussexes have won,' expert says

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made headlines after their long-awaited visit to the UK to lead the year-long countdown celebrations to the Invictus Games 2027. While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex received a big invitation from King Charles III to Highgrove House last week, an expert believes the couple do not deserve to return to the royal property.

Expert calls out Prince Harry and… Meghan Markle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are known to have stepped down from the ivory tower in 2020, leaving their titles as working royals to build an independent life in California. Half a decade later, the couple was invited to have dinner with His Royal Highness, along with their children: Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie. Speaking about the meeting, TalkTV host Mark Dolan declared the Sussexes the winner. Meghan Markle returned to the royal property, during her conversation with Sky News Australia.

The expert said: “I understand that William is angry about this. Why? Because it is a reward for the betrayal, disloyalty and cruelty committed by Harry and Meghan.” Furthermore, Dolan pointed out that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle disrespected the monarchy. He added: “Charles wants to see his grandchildren, and I understand that, but I think that Harry and Meghan had no right to be on the royal property. They got what they wanted as usual.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle: When things went south

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle expressed their frustrated feelings about the monarchy in an Oprah interview in 2021. The couple spoke about their fractured relationship with King Charles III, and highlighted acts of racism they experienced. “In those months that I was pregnant — around the same time, we had a side-by-side, ‘He’s not going to be given security, he’s not going to get a title,’ and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin would be when he’s born,” Meghan recalled of the conversation, according to Vogue.Furthermore, Prince Harry stated that his relationship with King Charles III was unstable. “There’s a lot to work through. I’m really frustrated that he went through something similar,” he said. “I’ll always love him. But there’s a lot of hurt that’s been done.”Before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived to visit the UK, there was a back-and-forth conversation about their guaranteed security. Reports indicated that the couple would reconsider their trip. A week after making headlines, the couple reunited with King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
