Shekhar Suman criticizes Aamir Khan’s third marriage with Gauri Sprat: Our government cannot run a double engine, he runs a triple engine
Comedian Shekhar Suman took a humorous swipe at Aamir Khan after the actor’s marriage to Gauri Sprat. In the latest episode of his popular YouTube talk show Shekhar Tonite, Shekhar mixed political satire with relationship humor when he joked about Aamir getting married for the third time.Speaking in his trademark comedic style, Shekhar said, “This man has given a unique vision for many generations to come. And that vision is to chase something until you can’t achieve it. Politicians, in particular, have a lot to learn from him. It is often said that politicians know how to form alliances. But they must learn the art of forming alliances with this man.”
“It runs a triple engine.”
Taking the jokes to a higher level, Shekhar quipped that Aamir had succeeded in forming a ‘mahagathbandhan’ (grand alliance).“Our government can’t run a double engine smoothly, and it’s running a triple engine now,” he joked.Continuing the joke, Shekhar harped on Gauri Sprat’s name and said, “Aapne Gauri… Ek minute… Gore kya hoga.”Then he added: “Amer’s talent is unimaginable. He is unique. He is like an engine in which gasoline, ethanol and isobutanol are mixed together. But despite that, this engine has not stopped yet, and is moving smoothly on the tracks towards a new destination.”
The comedian also made another political comparison, saying, “Aamir Khan has formed the government for the third time with a complete majority. Is Aamir Khan the NDA government or what? Even PM Modi must think he has just broken Nehru’s record, and now he has a new rival in Aamir Khan.”
“This is called Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.”
Shekhar also pointed out the alleged presence of Aamir’s ex-wives and children during the wedding celebrations.Pointing out that Aamir’s first two wives and children – Ira Khan, Junaid Khan and Azad – were present, he said: “This is called vasudhaiva kutumbakam (the world is one family).”Ending the clip with another statement, Shekhar said, “Now, I understand why he calls it ‘perfectionist’. He keeps doing something until he becomes perfect at it. As we all know, perfection ki koi Seema nahi hoti… Seema chhodiye, koi Reena, koi Kiran nahi hoti.”
Aamir Khan marries Gauri Sabrat
Aamir Khan reportedly married Gauri Spratt in an intimate, registered ceremony held at his Pali Hill residence in Mumbai on July 5. The ceremony was attended by family members and a few close friends.The wedding photos showed Amer signing the marriage documents while Gauri sat next to him. The ceremony was attended by Aamir’s son Azad Rao Khan, who was seen carrying the ring box, while Gauri’s son from her previous marriage also participated in the ceremony. Aamer’s mother Zeenat Hussain was also present.For the party, Gauri wore an intricately embroidered ivory ethnic outfit with elegant jewelery and fresh white flowers in her braid.
Aamir chose a bright white kurta, paired with a stylish brooch, his signature black-rimmed glasses and a stylish beard. The intimate celebration was attended by Aamir’s sons Ira Khan and Junaid Khan, son-in-law Nupur Shekhare, director Ashutosh Gowariker, Ambani family members, actor Eli Avram, cricketer Irfan Pathan and politician Raj Thackeray.Aamir and Gauri have known each other for over 25 years after their first meeting in Bengaluru. Although they kept in touch over the years, they reportedly reconnected in 2023 and eventually started dating. Gauri has worked in the fashion and beauty industry and has also been associated with Aamir Khan’s production company.
