According to the police, the victim’s 60-year-old father, also named Ravi, filed a complaint expressing doubts about his son’s death. Based on the complaint, the police registered a case and opened an investigation.

What the investigation found

During the investigation, investigators found that the deceased’s wife, Sandhya, 32, was in a relationship with Anil, 35, a resident of Indrapuri Colony in Nizamabad. The police alleged that Sandhya and Anil conspired to kill Ravi and sought help from Venkat Sai, 25, a resident of Nyalkal village.

According to the investigation, on June 29, Venkat Sai visited Ravi’s house, consumed alcohol with him, allegedly acted on Sandhya’s instructions over phone, took him to the balcony of a building and pushed him away. Ravi was injured in the fall but survived.

Sandhya and Venkat Sai then took him to Nizamabad District Hospital for treatment before shifting him to a private hospital and later sending him home, police said.
