Steven “Covisella” recently spoke directly with Bricks & Minifigs CEO Ammon McNeff, as questions still surround a missing LEGO Star Wars set connected to the company’s store in Salem, Oregon.
The conversation appeared in Coffeezilla’s investigation video on June 10, 2026. The case first gained attention after YouTube user Reckless Ben reported that a LEGO set owned by the Mansell family was never returned. During the investigation, Covisella reviewed documents associated with the group and contacted McNiff to discuss what company leadership knew about the situation. One of the key points from the discussion included a spreadsheet that reportedly listed LEGO Star Wars inventory along with estimated values.
Covisella asked McNiff if he knew about the existence of the document. McNiff said he did not and explained that the company was not aware of many details regarding the store’s operations at the time.

During the call, Coffeezilla Ammon questioned McNeff about a spreadsheet that the Salem, Oregon, store is said to have created. The document detailed collections associated with the Mansell family collection and included estimated high and low values.
McNiff responded by saying that company leadership was not aware of the spreadsheet before it was brought to their attention.
“We had no idea. Again, you don’t know what you don’t know, and you can’t, like we don’t know everything, and we don’t go, you know, like looking in every nook and cranny everywhere, you know, like we don’t know some of this stuff.”

Another major issue discussed was whether the full collection would remain in the store when ownership changed.According to Coffeezilla, Ammon McNeff has repeatedly maintained that Bricks & Minifigs did not believe the entire Mansell Star Wars collection was still around when the company took control of the site or when new ownership took over.

Coffeezilla also challenged one of the biggest numbers associated with the story. While many viewers became aware of the reported value of $200,000 through coverage of Reckless Ben, Covisella said the spreadsheet suggested a different number.
The LEGO Star Wars set is valued at approximately $107,000
According to a Coffeezilla review of records, the estimated value of the collection was around $107,000 based on an average of numbers between the high and low estimates listed.“The real estimated value is about $107,000. They give high estimates and low estimates, but that’s in the middle. For simplicity’s sake, I’ll just use averages and estimates here. But understand, you know, these numbers aren’t set in stone, since they weren’t sold as Legos. They’re just rough odds, but the point is, they’re not worth anywhere near $200,000.”
