‘Die Hard’ Screenwriter Steven D’Souza Inks Three Graphic Novel Deal With Gungnir (Exclusive)

Steven E. D’Souza, known for his screenwriting work on features such as Die hard and 48 hours.and is scheduled to continue delving into Sheena: Queen of the Jungle franchise with a new graphic novel deal.

Gungnir Books has signed a deal with De Souza for three graphic novels, Hollywood Reporter I’ve learned. This includes new ones Sheena address Frostlinee, along with the two original graphic novels Earth patrol tonight! and Gulliver. De Souza restarted the file Sheena franchise with Galaxy Publishing for Dynamite Entertainment to explore the character dating back to the 1930s.

De Souza’s history with the graphic medium goes back to the writer adapting projects such as Judge Dredd to Sylvester Stallone’s big screen adaptation in 1995, along with an adaptation Cadillacs and dinosaurs As an animated series for CBS and his work on HBO Tales from the basement. The writer’s extensive range of credits also includes features Commando, Running man, Die hard and its sequel in 1990, Flintstones, Beverly Hills Cop III, Street fight and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life.
