MeatEater’s Stephen Rinella Signs with UTA (Exclusive)

Steven Rinella and his outdoor brand and media company, MeatEater, produce Carnivore The series on Netflix and YouTube channel has signed with United Talent Agency for representation.

The Hollywood talent, entertainment, sports and consulting firm will work with Rinella to expand business opportunities in digital video and audio, which already includes long-term projects Carnivore Reality TV show and MeatEater Podcast On Spotify. UTA will also look to expand MeatEater to include brand partnerships, television and live tours. This is after Rinella gained a fan base among outdoor enthusiasts as a writer, TV presenter, and podcast host.

“Led by Steven Rinella — a unique storyteller, history buff, environmentalist, podcaster, and creator — and supported by an impressive leadership team, MeatEater has built an extremely loyal community. We’re excited to partner with a brand whose audience doesn’t just follow the lifestyle, they live it,” Oren Rosenbaum, partner and co-president of UTA Creators, said in a statement.

MeatEater is UTA’s latest bet on the emerging creator economy, where audience-first storytelling by digital creators like Rinella has reshaped how Hollywood content is discovered, financed, developed and monetized.

“MeatEater has uniquely positioned itself as a leading media brand that critically serves conservation-conscious Americans who hunt, fish and live their best outdoor lives. We are thrilled to partner with the team at UTA to provide our passionate fans with even more opportunities to engage with the MeatEater brand wherever they watch, listen, read and gather,” added Jason Bergsdan, CEO of MeatEater, in his own statement.

the Carnivore The TV series, hosted by Rinella, is now in production on its 14th season, with about 1.8 million subscribers tuning in to watch the show on Netflix, YouTube and elsewhere on ad-supported streaming channels. MeatEater is set to announce FAST’s expanded channel offerings and distribution, as well as a new live tour, in the coming months.

Rinella also hosts MeatEater Podcast Twice a week, alongside host MeatEater’s Clay Newcomb Grease Bear As a sports podcast and a true crime podcast Blood trails. MeatEater is scheduled to release a new season of it American MeatEater History A podcast series chronicling gunfighters in the American West and hosted by author Brian Burrow.

Rinella is the author of ten books and six audiobooks, including… American Buffalo: In Search of a Lost Icona collection of cookbooks and Outdoor kids in an indoor worldA guide for parents to get their families out of the home and into nature.

Rinella also advocates for environmental conservation, access to public lands, and responsible hunting practices. Mark Gerald continues to represent Rinella and MeatEater at Europe Content Publishing. Burrough is repped by the Wylie Agency, which is working with CAA.
