Chabuzi will head to San Diego next week for his first Comic-Con appearance.

The Grammy Award winner will be ready to promote his first comic book, Outlaw Sherri Leea three-issue Western release from Range Comics, the graphic novel imprint backed by Range Media Partners. The comic is the result of Chabusi’s upcoming album Outlaw Sherry Lee and Other Western Taleswhich bows on July 31.

the Outlaw Sherri Lee The comic hits stores on August 18, but will be available early at Comic-Con, where Shaboozey will participate in a signing at the Funko Booth in the exhibit hall on July 24 starting at 5:30 p.m. The musician created the story with Xaivia Inniss, while Robert Geoffrey II wrote the storyboard and Sean Damian Hill provided the art.

Shaboozey will also participate in a panel discussion hosted by Juju Green, the content creator known as Straw Hat Goofy, for a live version of his podcast on iHeartRadio. Get Rec’d with Straw Hat Goofy.

The artist has been nominated eight times for a Grammy Award, winning his first award earlier this year for Best Country Group/Duo Performance for his work with Jelly Roll on “Amen.” He broke out in a big way with his 2024 hit song “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”

San Diego Comic-Con takes place from July 23-26, and Saturday night’s Marvel Studios panel will be among the highlights expected from this year’s con.
