Lashkar-e-Taiba turns against its masters in Pakistan over recognition of Israel

Lashkar-e-Taiba’s deputy leader, Saifullah Kasuri, has threatened Pakistan’s frontline leadership and senior military officials with direct and public threats of liquidation if they “even think about recognizing Israel.”

“He will be assassinated, destroyed and destroyed,” he said in a speech to a crowd of people.Kasuri’s statements follow President Trump’s call to several Muslim-majority countries, including Pakistan, to establish diplomatic relations with Israel under the umbrella of the Abraham Accords.During a public gathering held following Eid al-Adha prayers, Kasuri took direct aim at the country’s highest ruling authorities, warning that any behind-the-scenes attempts to change Pakistan’s long-standing foreign policy regarding Israel would be met with fierce resistance.Kasuri also stressed that there is no international superpower that has the influence to force Islamic countries to recognize the Israeli state. He pointed to the strengthening of the defense alliance between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, claiming that Pakistan’s military capabilities now have a strategic reach capable of countering Israeli influence.Throughout the speech, Kasuri effectively used the highly volatile rhetoric around jihad, martyrdom, and the ongoing conflict in Palestine to inflame his followers and unite the opposition against government policy.

“Whoever accepts Israel will be destroyed… God willing, this Muslim nation is our faith, this is our creed… and this hostile action will continue forever, until you join us in worshiping one God.”

The deal with Saudi Arabia is the beginning for Islam and the nation. This is not the work of any ruler, politician or leader. It is not the result of plans.. It is the result of thousands and millions of people who sacrificed their lives for the sake of God…”But experts and security sources saw Kasuri’s speech as “fabricated” and a trick by Pakistani Field Marshal Asim Munir to overlook any American pressure to support Israel.
