Bollywood mourns the loss of a legendary and veteran actor Dharmendra who died in Mumbai on December 8 at the age of 89, just days before his 90th birthday. The veteran actor, fondly known as the ‘He-Man of Bollywood’, whose unparalleled career spanned six decades and 300 films, was recently discharged from Breach Candy Hospital and was reportedly recovering.
However, on the afternoon of November 24, an ambulance was seen leaving his house, and several celebrities reached Pawan Hans Crematorium in Juhu. While his family has yet to make an official statement, filmmaker Karan Johar publicly confirmed the news of his death. Several celebrities have also expressed their heartfelt condolences on social media platforms. The actor has not been feeling well since November 1, when he was admitted to the hospital.
His last film, now released posthumously, will be Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan’s grandsons Agastya Nanda and Jaideep Ahlawat. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on December 25, 2025.
