EETimes Verdict
The film elicited mixed but engaging responses from viewers.ETimes’ review of the film says: “Anne Hathaway is a delight as Andy, a wide-eyed idealist who refuses to become cynical, even as she rises through the ranks. Meryl Streep owns the screen with easy authority and undeniable star power. Her new diatribes like ‘You’re not a visionary.’ You are a seller,” gain influence and define the legacy of the franchise.
Emily Blunt
She slips into her role with ease, offering a distinctive eye roll and pointed skepticism, while Stanley Tucci remains the kind of mentor everyone wishes they had.
The film is full of stars, but Lady Gaga steals the show. Simone Ashley, as Miranda’s new Emily, adds a new edge, as she’s tasked with keeping her boss in check, pushing her toward political correctness, and helping her navigate the new era of cancel culture and body positivity.
