Later, President Murmu was given a warm send-off at the Annandale Heliport in Shimla, where Governor Kavinder Gupta, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Panchayati Raj, Rural Development Minister Anirudh Singh, Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta, DGP Ashok Tiwari and other senior civil, police and army officers were present on the occasion.

President Murmu’s itinerary had several programs but due to extreme weather conditions, she remained confined to Shimla.
