The Balochistan Liberation Army on Monday claimed to have carried out 27 operations across multiple districts in Pakistan’s Balochistan province between April 15 and 25, claiming that at least 42 Pakistani army personnel were killed during the period.The Balochistan Post newspaper, quoting a statement by Balochistan Liberation Army spokesman Jiand Baloch, reported that its fighters carried out bombings with explosive devices, ambushes, raids and drone attacks targeting Pakistani security forces.It claimed that 42 members of the Pakistani army were killed, a number of others were injured, and one soldier was captured during this period. The Balochistan Liberation Army also claimed to have seized weapons and briefly stormed several sites and facilities of security forces in different areas.The group also claimed that three of its fighters were killed. The statement said that its fighters targeted the advancing forces in the Sohanda area with a remote-controlled explosive device, which was followed by an ambush in which many individuals were killed. It also claimed that subsequent operations in nearby civilian areas led to the deaths of 11 people, according to TBP.

The group said that Pakistani forces were targeted in the Almark area of Kharan through IED explosions and ambushes, forcing them to retreat and causing casualties.
In Quetta, it claimed responsibility for an attack on the Eagle Division police unit on Qambrani Road, which resulted in the injury of two of its members. It also said it had killed an allegedly pro-government local armed individual in the Kohlu district, often linked to “death squads,” and reported further attacks on armed groups and security forces in Basimah, resulting in casualties.According to the Balochistan Liberation Army, clashes in Shahraj, Harnai, led to the capture of a soldier alive.
It said it took control of an LTTE position in Jhal Magsi, seized weapons, and carried out multiple attacks on convoys and checkpoints, resulting in deaths and injuries. The group also confirmed that one of its fighters was killed during the clashes.This comes weeks after three Pakistani Coast Guard members were killed when Baloch fighters opened fire on a patrol boat in the Arabian Sea near the Iranian border, in what security officials described as the first attack of its kind on a maritime security ship. Intelligence and police officials said the boat was on routine patrol near the Pakistan-Iran coastal border when it came under fire, killing all three individuals on board.
