the Interview with the Vampire The series is inspired by the works of the late Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles The books have been retitled for season three, as Reed’s character looks to relive his centuries-old story as an immortal and troubled rock star.
“It’s my era. I’m a rock star now,” a strutting de Leoncourt says at one point in the bombastic, fast-paced trailer, with one camera angle revealing the touring artist’s famous shoes bearing the word “Hate” on one sole and the word “I” on the other.
But as he tries to set things right by “rewriting” the vampire annals, de Leoncourt’s life begins to spin out of control as the muse of his rebellious past haunts him.
“I’m immortal… I’ve been a monster. This is my account,” Reed’s character shouted as AMC unveiled the latest Immortal Universe series and in which Lestat in the teaser played his version of Billy Idol’s catchy “Dancing With Myself.”
Along with Reed Vampire Lestat It stars Jacob Anderson, Asad Zaman, Bogosian, Delene Hayles, and Jennifer Ehle, and is executive produced by Mark Johnson, creator, writer, and showrunner Rollin Jones, Hannah Moskowitz, Christopher Rice, and Anne Rice.
