Daniel Radcliffe is best known for his leading role in the “Harry Potter” film series. He is known to be very humble and keeps most of his personal life away from prying eyes. However, here and there, he ends up revealing fascinating details about his life as a father.
In one of his recent conversations, when the actor was sharing details about some of the wonderful things in life that he is grateful for, he couldn’t help but talk about his son.
Daniel Radcliffe talks about his son and his private life
While chatting with E! News, the host asked him about some of the cool things in his life, regarding his latest Broadway hit, “Every Brilliant Thing,” and Radcliffe couldn’t stop talking about his son.
“My list of cool things consists entirely of things my son says or does right now,” he said.
I would say my son’s weird accent is a wonderful thing, because he’s clearly sandwiched between me – who is English – and the rest of the people he knows, who are Americans. And so he’s got this wonderful, weird little voice. You can never predict how he will say a word.He also linked his Broadway show to his child, noting that he and the playwright had talked about it and revealed that children can bring a lot of magic to a play.
Furthermore, he noted that they had discussed the issue of a sequel as well, although the only way for that to happen would be for the character in the play to have children.He added that the sequel could only happen because “it would be because the character has children and thousands of wonderful things happen when she’s with them.”
Daniel Radcliffe’s son does not know that his father is famous
In another interview with PEOPLE magazine, the actor got candid about life and added that his son has absolutely no idea how popular his father is.
Not only that, Radcliffe also shared more about his son’s reaction to him appearing in a TV commercial while at home.“I walked out of the room,” he shared, “and all of a sudden the showbiz trailer came on, and he’d never seen anything I’d done or been aware of any of that stuff. He just walked in with a tone of voice that was like, ‘I’m not crazy, right?’ He just says, ‘Dada?’ And then he said, ‘Did he leave? Because he thought I walked out of the room and then suddenly I was on TV.'” Moreover, he concluded, “You know your job is a bulls-eye job—a job when you can’t describe it to a kid.”
