Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock are back, twenty-eight years after the original Practical Magic cast a spell on audiences; The beloved duo returns as the Owens sisters in the long-awaited sequel.
The trailer was officially revealed after debuting at CinemaCon in Las Vegas last week, and it looks like the magic is still very much alive.Directed by Susanne Bier, Practical Magic 2 sees Bullock and Kidman reprise their roles as Sally and Gillian Owens. Part 2 returns to a world steeped in moonlit mischief and powerful ancestral magic, where the Owens sisters must confront the dark curse that threatens to unravel their family once and for all in a must-see cinematic event of fun, magic and mayhem.
What happens in “Practical Magic 2”
In Part Two, Sally has grown daughters who have begun living on her own, while Gilly has settled into a quieter life with a black cat. But trouble soon finds them, bringing them back to their New England town to confront a family curse that refuses to stay buried.The trailer begins with Sally narrating: “I’m sure you’ve heard about the Owens family, from Massachusetts, who their neighbors whisper are witches.”
When Lee Pace’s character meets the sisters, Sally tells him: “Everyone we love dies.” “A really horrific death,” Gillian continues with characteristic wit. “Not great for a Tinder bio.”
In another scene on a train, Gillian reassures the group that “everything’s going to be okay,” prompting Sally to respond, “Everything’s going to be okay? Just like when we had to bury a body under a rosebush? Is that okay or different?”

Along with Kidman and Bullock, the film stars Joey King, Lee Pace, Maisie Williams, Zulu Mariduena, and Sully MacLeod.
