Actress Deepika Padukone has reportedly canceled her scheduled trip to Paris following flight disruptions caused by rising tensions related to the escalation of the conflict between Iran and Israel. The Bollywood star, who works as a global ambassador for a luxury brand, was due to attend an event in the French capital but was forced to pull out after her flight was canceled at the last minute.A source close to the actor said that travel arrangements had already been finalized before the disruption occurred. “Deepika’s attendance was initially confirmed. She focused on her outfit and started preparing the look. But her trip was among many that were canceled in the last few days. Also, as the war has escalated and affected many countries across West Asia, she has reconsidered whether this is the right time to travel,” the source told Mid-Day.
So far, her team has not issued an official statement regarding the cancellation of her appearance in Paris.On the film front, Deepika will soon be reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan in the upcoming film ‘King’. The project will also feature Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan in the lead role. Reports suggest that Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana recently shot a major sequence during the Vijayadashami celebrations in Mumbai. For the scene, the filmmakers reportedly built a massive set designed to recreate the sheer scale and energy of the festive procession.
The series was shot over eight nights, with Suhana performing several stunts, marking a high-octane role in the film.
