Actress Celina Jaitley took to social media to reflect on Holly’s bittersweet nature, revealing her sadness and nostalgia for a previous life that seemed far away. As she navigates life in a foreign land, she grapples with overwhelming feelings of loss, including cherished memories of family and heritage.

Actress Celina Jaitley shared a deeply personal note on social media a day after Holi, saying that the festival no longer feels like it used to. While many movie stars marked the occasion with parties and family celebrations, Selena looked at the sadness, distance, and feeling of losing the very idea of home.

She wrote: “Homesick for a place that no longer exists. Who do you become when you live outside your country as long as you live in your parents’ house?”

However, after a while, you feel lost. You realize that you have integrated everything you can, but this essence… it is difficult to integrate in a land where you were not born.

So it was often my responsibility to introduce the boys to our festivals, culture and traditions in my own little ways.In 2025, Selena filed a domestic violence case against her husband, Peter Haag. She sought $6 million in compensation for lost earnings and requested custody of her children. She alleged that she was subjected to severe emotional, physical, sexual and verbal abuse, and said the situation forced her to leave her home in Austria and return to India. According to her claims, the children are currently living with Haag in Austria while legal proceedings continue.
