As part of the ongoing Health Webinar series, The Hindu will conduct a free webinar on Friday, February 13, 2026, on the topic, ‘Epilepsy: Management and Care.’ The webinar will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

This session will focus on helping the public better understand epilepsy, including its causes, symptoms, and the range of treatment options available. The discussion will also address common myths and misconceptions surrounding the condition, explain how epilepsy is managed over the long term, and highlight the importance of timely medical care. Experts will also emphasise the role of awareness and social support in improving quality of life for persons living with epilepsy and in reducing stigma associated with the condition.

Expert panellists include Prithika Chary, senior consultant, Neurology, Neurosurgery and Epileptology, Kauvery Hospital, and Ennapadam S. Krishnamoorthy, Behavioural Neurologist and Neuropsychiatrist, and Founder, Buddhi Clinic.

The session will be moderated by Athira Elssa Johnson, Senior Reporter, The Hindu
