Yes. Although Strickland was not on the official guest list for UFC Freedom 250, he attended the UFC Fan Fest held on the Ellipse near the White House on June 14, 2026. He mingled with fans and briefly entered the ring before attracting the attention of security and law enforcement.

Strickland was escorted from the UFC Freedom 250 Fan Fest by members of the US Secret Service, US Police and other law enforcement agencies after his appearance attracted a large crowd in attendance.
“Shaun Strickland’s unplanned presence attracted significant attention from those in attendance, resulting in chaos,” the U.S. Park Police Public Information Office wrote in a statement. “Due to concerns for Strickland’s safety and the safety of event sponsors, personnel from the U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Park Police, and other assisting agencies safely evacuated him from the area.” Authorities stressed that “Strickland was not cited or arrested in connection with the incident. However, he has been advised not to return to the scene for his personal and public safety.”
