A controversial social media post has been removed from a flight after airline staff said his condition following facial surgery raised concerns about whether he was fit to travel.
Ronan Androgenic, a 25-year-old influencer based in Brisbane, Australia, shared a video on TikTok showing the moment he was asked to leave a Jetstar flight after boarding. According to Androgenic, he underwent plastic surgery in Thailand just five days ago and was trying to return home.The video quickly gained attention online. In the footage, the Androgenic Ronan can be seen sitting on the plane with heavy bandages around his jaw and chin.
He claimed that airline staff questioned his condition and eventually decided that he could not remain on the plane. Ronan Androgenic told viewers that staff were concerned because he did not have his medication in his carry-on bags. However, airline staff also noted his physical condition, saying he appeared unusually tired and ill.
Staff said his responses were slow, and visible swelling around his face and eyes raised concerns about his health.

During the exchange seen in the video, airline employees repeatedly told Ronan Androgenic that they were concerned about his ability to complete the flight safely. One employee said he appeared sleepy when answering questions. Another pointed out the swelling in his face and told him he didn’t look well enough to travel.Androgenic Ronan strongly disagreed. He said he was just tired because he was getting ready to sleep during the flight.
He also stated that the doctor allowed him to travel after the operation.According to the video, Ronan Androgenic said that resting before a long flight is normal. He told staff he needed to go home and felt he was being treated unfairly despite being medically cleared.The discussion became more heated as it continued. Airline staff told him that regardless of any documents he had previously provided, crew members were still responsible for determining whether a passenger appeared fit to fly at the time of boarding.
Staff also said his behavior became disruptive during the dispute.Jetstar later responded to the incident in a statement provided to News.com.au. The airline said crew members are trained to assess passengers before departure and can refuse travel if they think someone may not be well enough to fly safely. Jetstar also said that abusive language and aggressive behavior towards staff was unacceptable.Androgenic Ronan is known online for promoting “looksmaxxing”, a trend focused on improving physical appearance through intense self-improvement, cosmetic procedures, and body modifications. This trend has gained popularity on social media in recent years. Another creator associated with this trend, Clavcular, has also faced controversy in the past due to online content that has drawn criticism.
