Why is Hassan Abi banned from entering the UK? The Twitch star claims his visa was canceled before his headline appearance

Twitch streamer Hassan Abi has claimed that the UK has canceled his visa, preventing him from attending several events and appearances planned in the country. Speaking during the live broadcast, he criticized the decision and linked it to broader political issues. The controversy quickly gained attention online, with supporters and critics discussing his claims while questions remain about the circumstances behind the reported visa revocation.

Hassan Baker found himself at the center of another political storm this weekend after revealing he could no longer enter the UK. The Twitch star, known online as HasanAbi, made the announcement during a live stream, surprising viewers who expected him to travel to the country for a series of public events. The development quickly exploded on social media with supporters and critics alike chiming in. What began as a conversation about travel restrictions quickly evolved into a broader debate about freedom of expression, politics and growing tensions around international political commentary.

Hassan Abiy says his UK visa was canceled before planned events

Hassan Abiy spoke to his fans on May 31 and said that he recently discovered that his UK visa is no longer valid. The streamer said the decision jeopardizes several commitments he has booked in the country, including appearances with high-profile political figures and a trip to the Oxford Union.

He told the viewers:“Well, I didn’t want to talk about it, but my visa has also been cancelled. We’ve only just found out. So, yeah, I’m not going to continue in the current situation; I don’t think I’ll be able to go to the UK next week. I don’t know who to contact for this. I was supposed to do something with Yanis Varoufakis. Do something with Zach Polanski. Do something with Jeremy Corbyn. Do something at the Oxford Union.”

Now the Labor government has canceled our visas.

Shortly thereafter, Hassan took to social media to express his frustration, arguing that Western governments are moving away from the principles they often claim to defend.books:“The UK has also canceled my visa. All at the behest of Israel. The West is betraying ‘liberal values’ to a genocidal fascist foreign government. Soon we will all be Israelis.”

Hassan Abi describes the British visa decision as a “sad situation”

During the same broadcast, Hassan expanded on his reaction to the visa cancellation and criticized what he saw as political double standards.Speaking about the situation, he said:He added: “This is a sad situation, as Israel’s interests are clearly the highest priority. However, Nick Shirley can leave.” naturally! Because Nick Shirley is a dog of the fascist state.”

The broadcaster then offered a broader critique of political leadership in both the UK and the US, saying:“We are in the 1930s, where I think administrations in both the UK and the USA, regardless of their supposed ideological differences, move exactly as a single party, and things are only going to get worse from here on out.

Straight up…fascism. That’s it. That’s it. Israel is a fascist state, and must impose its orders on other countries in an attempt to comply with the wishes of a foreign country, such as Israel.

Western liberal democracies that are supposed to protect and preserve freedom of speech, even if they don’t have a First Amendment like we do here in the USA, are supposed to have a reason. Like, good reason.

“This is not one of them.”To date, no official public statement explaining the reported visa decision has been issued. Until more information emerges, the controversy is likely to remain a major topic across streaming communities and online political circles.
